The efforts for increasing the members of COMSATS, beyond the current strength of 21, is being actively pursued by the COMSATS Headquarters. More developing countries are being invited to join COMSATS as members. The countries contacted so far include Oman, U.A.E, Brunei Darussalam, Algeria, Malaysia, Somalia, Palestine, Turkey, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Lebanon, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Kenya, Myanmar, Brazil, South Africa and Bosnia.
