FOCUS OF THE JOURNAL
SCIENCE VISION is a scientific journal of COMSATS, which is now being published on a biannual basis. It primarily aims at highlighting the important scientific and technological developments that have a bearing on socio-economic conditions of the people. It invites research as well as review articles that have basic scientific descriptions, with comprehensive elucidation of the impact of S&T discoveries and innovations for creating understanding of the contemporary issues and challenges but also for stimulating joint action for the provision of practical solutions. This journal has been given a thematic focus, so that each issue would deal with a single aspect of the developmental strategy.
Getting your article(s) printed in this COMSATS’ journal would be advantageous, as it is widely circulated, at the highest levels, amongst scientific, academic and policy-making circles, particularly in the member countries of COMSATS.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Abbreviations:
Authors should limit the use of abbreviations. Terms that are mentioned frequently may be abbreviated but only if this practice does not detract from the reader’s comprehension. Abbreviations should be used consistently through out the text, but must be clearly defined.
References and Bibliography:
In order to standardize the citation and referencing style, the authors are expected to use the alphabetical/name-date system, in a particular style, known as the HARVARD style. In this, the author's surname and year of publication are cited in the text, e.g. (Bond, 2004) and a reference list (of these citations) is included at the end of the article/paper, in alphabetical order by author with date. This reference list also includes important details such as the title and publisher.
A bibliography lists relevant items that you have used in the preparation of the article/paper but not necessarily cited in your text. A bibliography should also be in the Harvard style and the inclusion of such a list shows that you have read widely beyond the items you have cited.
