At present COMSATS has 21 developing countries from across three continents including, Asia, Latin America, and Africa, as its members.
Focal points are designated in each member country to ensure that the cooperation avenues among the member states are properly explored, with the support of their respective governments. These focal points in the member countries, as selected by the respective Governments, are mostly the state/government bodies/ministries responsible for science and technology resource-management and research and development. - Participation in the joint technical cooperation projects undertaken by COMSATS Network of internationally renowned science and technology Centres of Excellence.
