| At present, COMSATS has 21 developing countries as its members from across three continents including, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Focal points are designated in each member country to ensure that the cooperation avenues among the Member States are suitably explored with the support of their respective governments. These focal points in the member countries, selected by the respective Governments, are mostly the ministries/government-bodies responsible for S&T resource-management and R&D.
