| COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) is organizing the 4th International Conference: Environmentally Sustainable Development (ESDev-2011) on July 24-26, 2011, at its campus in Abbottabad-Pakistan. The Conference is aimed at exploring linkages among environment, sustainable development and society; finding technological solutions for the environmental problems; renewable energy resources and resource-management; and promoting integration among these in support of the ‘UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development’, adopted for 2005-2015.
Launched in 2005, ESDev is a series of international conferences held biennially. The event provides a platform to experts from academia, research institutions, and industries to present their work and share experiences and expertise relevant to the theme of the Conference.
