Invitations and Confirmation of Participation

The Executive Director COMSATS has extended invitations to all the members of the Council, as well as high-officials of some international partner organizations as observers. Confirmation of participation has, so far, been received from NMC-Nigeria, CIIT-Pakistan, NRC-Egypt and ICCES-China, as well as from an especially invited member of COMSATS’ Technical Advisory Committee, Dr. Moctar Touré (Senegal).

The TÜBİTAK MRC will soon be extending invitation letters to those invitees that have confirmed their participation in the meeting. COMSATS Headquarters is closely coordinating with the local organizing committee of the event to ensure timely arrangements.

Agenda, Programme and Working Paper

The Agenda and Programme of the meeting have been finalized, whereas the meeting’s Working Paper is under preparation. The important agenda items include approval of the University Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD), Dakar, Senegal, as COMSATS’ Centre of Excellence (CoE); re-designation of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ghana, as COMSATS’ CoE in place of BRRI-Ghana; and presentation of the second part of COMSATS’ Strategy Document viz. ‘Implementation Plan’ for the Council’s approval.

Finalized Working Paper, which includes the Programme and Agenda of the meeting, will be electronically distributed to all the members and participants.

Local Hospitality

TÜBİTAK MRC will provide the local hospitality (boarding, lodging and local transportation) to all the participants of the meeting.
